Adjusting the range of color variations
Color artwork with colors from the Color Guide
❖ Select your artwork and click any color in the Color Guide panel.
Save Color Guide colors to the Swatches panel
From the Color Guide panel, you can save the active color group or a selection of color variations as a color group
in the Swatches panel.
• To save the current color group in the Color Guide panel, click the New Color Group button .
• To save one or more color variations as individual swatches, drag the colors from the Color Guide panel to the
Swatches panel.
• To save multiple color variations as a group, select them in the Color Guide panel and click the New Color Group
button
.
Live Color overview
You use the Live Color dialog box to create and edit color groups, as well as reassign or reduce the colors in your
artwork. All of the color groups that you create for a particular document appear in the Color Groups storage area
of the Live Color dialog box (as well as the Swatches panel). You can select and use these color groups at anytime.
