Remote
Displays and allows editing of the DME unit [REMOTE] terminal. The following seven settings are
available:
HA Control(422): External head amplifier control (RS-422 only).
COM(232C): Control using DME Communication Protocol via RS-232C.
COM(422): Control using DME Communication Protocol via RS-422.
MIDI(232C): Control using MIDI commands via RS-232C.
MIDI(422): Control using MIDI commands via RS-422.
Remote Ctrl (232C): Remote control using DME Communication Protocol via RS-232C.
Remote Ctrl (422): Remote control using DME Communication Protocol via RS-422.
Remote Control via Ethernet
Check this checkbox when a DME Satellite [NETWORK] connector is to be used for remote control
using DME communication protocol. The Ethernet port to be used for remote control will be
displayed in the “IP Port No.” field. Change the port as necessary via the “Select IP Port No.” dialog
box that appears when the [Select IP Port No.] button is clicked. When the port is changed the
DME Satellite will be automatically restarted, so be sure to re-launch the DME Designer application
as well.
■ MIDI Tab
Port
Selects the MIDI port to be used for DAW controller or transmitting/receiving program change/
parameter change messages.
DAW Type
Selects the DAW type when a DAW controller is to be used.
NOTE
DME64N/24N are not supported.
NOTE
Uncheck the checkbox when the [REMOTE] connector is to be used for remote control.
NOTE
Does not apply to SP2060 units.
NOTE
Only USB 2 is available on DME Satellite.
