Paper Size Detect Purpose
Note: This parameter only affects HPGL and HPGL/2 jobs.
When PAPER is set for auto size detection (ANY, ANY ANSI, ANY ARCH, or
ANY ISO), this parameter determines whether the size of the image used to
determine paper size and image placement is taken from the actual bounding
box of marks on the page (DRAWN AREA), or specified by data format
dependent, page size commands if available (PLOT SPECIFIED).
Range: DRAWN AREA or PLOT SPECIFIED
Default: PLOT SPECIFIED
If the paper size detect option is set to DRAWN AREA, the printed image will
be placed on the smallest size media possible. One possible drawback
arises if the drawn area is larger than the page size specified in your print job.
In this case the printed image will be cropped to the page size specified in
your print job. If the paper size detect option is set to PLOT SPECIFIED, the
image will always be printed to the page size you specify in your print job.
