EVENTS BREAKING THE NEST
• A plot is received and Nesting Mode is disabled.
• A plot is received and Nesting Exclusive is enabled.
• A plot is received with a page width over 18”.
• Nesting Time Out has elapsed.
• A plot requiring a change of media type is received.
• A Page Composition job is received.
• Finisher options other than FOLD_BYPASS are specified.
• A plot is received with a request for a specific media source other than
AUTO (Manual Feed, Roll 1, etc.).
• A raster job is received which does not specify image dimensions.
Typical data formats with this behavior are Versatec Raw Raster, the
Compacted Raster and Blocked Raster variants of VDS, and occasional
HP-RTL files. The most common occurrence of this job type is
encountered with Versatec 7xxx and 8xxx emulations, and the Versatec
Custom Emulation mode.
