Syntax convention Explanation
inkref or dots Variable names or values are represented
in italics.
a | b | c Choices are separated by vertical bars.
{a | b | c} Required choices are enclosed in braces.
[a | b | c] Optional choices are enclosed in brackets.
b Default options are underlined.
... (Ellipsis) indicates repetition of an
element, for example:
