Procedure
To ground the system proceed as follows:
1. Connect the rack ground lug to the M6 shelf ground at the bottom right rear of the
shelf and torque the shelf ground lug nut to maximum. The studs are spaced 19
mm (0.75 inch) apart. This distance allows the use of anti-rotating two-hole lugs.
They are marked with the corresponding grounding symbol. Artesyn Embedded
Technologies - Embedded Computing recommends to use the cable from
Thomas&Betts as described in the chapter
Tools You Will Need
on page 82 or an
equivalent cable.
2. Permanantly connect to the earth ground of the building.
