4.5 Installing Blowers
The following section provides the information needed to exchange blowers.
System Damage
Operating the system with the blower cover open for more than 30 seconds may damage
the system.
When replacing a blower, make sure to open the blower cover only immediately before the
replacement, perform the replacement without delays, and close it immediately after the
replacement.
When a blower is taken out of operation, the system manager will compensate for the loss
by increasing the speed of the remaining blowers.
Damage of Circuits
Electrostatic discharge and incorrect blade installation and removal can damage circuits or
shorten their life.
Before touching the blade or electronic components, make sure that you are working in an
ESD-safe environment.
