5. Wait until the blue LED is illuminated permanently.

6. Remove the board from the shelf using the ejector ring.

Installing and Removing Alarm Board ATCA-A100

Data Loss
Removing the board with the blue LED still blinking causes data loss. Wait until the blue LED
is permanently illuminated, before removing the board.

Damage of Circuits
Electrostatic discharge and incorrect blade installation and removal can damage circuits or
shorten their life.
Before touching the blade or electronic components, make sure that you are working in an
ESD-safe environment.
