Displaying the Priority of a MAC Address
Command
Use the show aft entry command to display the priority of a source
MAC address or destination MAC address. The syntax of the
command is:
Avaya>show aft entry [mac
{
forward [
| multicast}]

Multiservice Switches, Version 5.3.1.
• Associate MAC address
00:00:00:00:00:55 with port 1 on
the module in slot 3 and with
VLAN 50.
• Forward frames that have a
source or destination MAC
address of 00:00:00:00:00:55.
• Assign a priority of 7 to packets
that have a destination MAC
address of 00:00:00:00:00:55.

• Associate MAC address
00:00:00:00:00:55 with port 1 on
the module in slot 3 and with
VLAN 50.
• Forward frames that have a
source or destination MAC

• Associate a priority of 5 with the
destination MAC of address
0:00:00:00:00:55.
• Assign the higher of the port
priority, tag priority, or
destination MAC address priority
(5) to frames that have a
destination MAC address of
00:00:00:00:00:55.
