4-12-3 Refreshing information recognized by the mainframe
host
Use the AddHostRefresh command to refresh the mainframe volume information and the logical
DKC serial number of the storage subsystem displayed in the web client. This command is the only
means of refreshing the information.
When you execute the command, specify the objectid parameter. For this
parameter, specify the object ID of the mainframe host that was output when the mainframe host
was registered using the AddHost command.
Action to be taken if an error occurs during the execution of the AddHostRefresh command:
If an error occurs during the execution of the AddHostRefresh command, perform the
following procedure:
1.
Check whether the mainframe agent is operating normally.
If it is not operating normally, check the mainframe agent settings, and restart mainframe
agent.
2.
Check whether the mainframe host and mainframe agent are registered correctly.

If they are registered correctly, use the AddHostRefresh command to acquire the
information again.
○
If they are not registered correctly, register them correctly using the procedures described
in
Command format:
Hdvmcli AddHostRefresh "objectid=mainframe-host-object-ID
"
