Set the IP address to a fixed IP address or obtain it automatically (DHCP).
Consult with your network administrator for the network parameters such as the IP
address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS.
When using a fixed IP address
• DHCP
Set [DHCP] to [OFF].
• IP Address
Set the IP address to assign to the RD-MV1000/RD-MV2000.
• Subnet Mask
Set the subnet mask according to the system or network to which the RD-MV1000/
RD-MV2000 belongs.
• Default Gateway
Set the IP address of the gateway.
• Host Name
Set the MV’s host name using up to 64 alphanumeric characters. You do not have to
set this parameter.
• Domain Name
Set the network domain name that the RD-MV1000/RD-MV2000 belongs to using up
to 64 characters. You do not have to set this parameter.
• Server Primary, Server Secondary
Register up to two IP addresses for the primary and secondary DNS servers.
• Domain Primary, Domain Secondary
Set up to two domain suffixes: primary and secondary.
