Example Projects
The Analyzer includes example projects that you can use to perform an immediate
analysis without any setup.
The Analyzer system software has a pre‐defined folder (directory) structure for storing all
files. All example files are in the Examples folder under the SierraFC M8‐4 folder.
It is strongly recommended that you open some example files to see types of projects
that you can create.
Run an Example Analysis Project
To run an example project:
1. Select File > Open.
2. Locate example analysis projects by looking in the Examples folder. Examples are
available for AdvanceCaptr, EasyCaptr, and Samples.
3. In the Samples folder, choose an example *.fcs file and click Open to display the
example project dialog.

4. Click the Record button to execute the pre‐defined example.
5. After the project runs, you see an analyzer trace capture display (see
Figure 2.9 on
page 40 ).
