2. Install the Xmonitor service.
a.
Open the server’s command prompt window (S TART MENU > R UN and type cmd,
then press E NTER .)
b. At the prompt, type: “%vxapps%”\..\lib\xmonitor –i
c. Press E NTER .

3. Start the Vertigo Xmonitor service.
a.
Return to the Services Management Console and right-click the Vertigo Xmonitor
listing.
b. Select the Start command from the context menu.

4. Repeat the same procedure on the peer server (primary or secondary server).
