Work Order workflow configuration
Setting up E-Notifications
The Workflow page’s E-N OTIFICATIONS workflow option (figure 10-12 ) allows you to
configure the Xmedia Server to automatically send an email to alert specific workflow users
when a job’s assignee is specified, or when a work order’s state has changed.

To configure the E-N OTIFICATIONS workflow option:
1. Create the email template files for the state change and/or job assignment notifications.

2. Set the N OTIFICATION PARAMETERS on the workflow’s E-N OTIFICATION page. See
“Setting the Notification Parameters” on page 10-33 for detailed instructions.
3. Create an email recipient list to establish which workflow users will receive an email
alert when a work order’s state is changed. See
“Creating an E-List for each state
change notification” on page 10-34 for detailed instructions.
