Changing the security credentials of the Policy Store
Now that the new user has been granted administrative privileges, they must be added to
the Policy Store’s security credentials so that the Xmedia Server can add, delete, or modify
the Policy Store (i.e. operations).
To edit the Policy Store’s security credentials:
1.
Open the Authorization Manager by selecting:

TART MENU >P ROGRAMS >A DMINISTRATIVE T OOLS >A UTHORIZATION M ANAGER
2. Right-click on the X MS A Z M AN S TORE . XML policy store and the select the P ROPERTIES
command (figure 20-32 )

3. Select the S ECURITY tab on the policy store’s P ROPERTIES dialog box (figure 20-33 ). If
it is not already displayed, set the Authorization Manager user role field to
Administrator.
