Permissions tab
The P ERMISSION tab on the T RANSITION P ROPERTIES dialog box displays the permissions
that have been assigned to the transition (figure 10-4 ). The permissions ensure that only
certain users are able to use the transition to move the work order or job from one state to
another.

Before you can add permissions to the Transition, the permissions must be created and
defined on the Workflow page’s P
ERMISSIONS view (see “Workflow option: Permissions” on
page 10-8 ). Once the necessary permissions have been created, you can add them to the
Transition by following the directions on page 10-17 .
