Work Order workflow configuration
Workflow option: Transitions
Transitions are the specific actions, like assign or approve, that are executed by users to
advance the work order from one state to the next. Transitions are made available only to
users who are assigned a specific role and permissions. They are created and configured
in the T
RANSITIONS workflow option section of the X MEDIA S ERVER C ONTROL P ANEL .
The following list identifies the transitions that belong to the Xmedia Server’s default
workflow.
•
A PPROVE - Advances the work order/job from P ENDING A PPROVAL to C OMPLETE
• A SSIGN - Advances the work order/job from P ENDING to I N P ROGRESS
• C REATE - Automatic transition that advances the work order/job from START to P ENDING
• R EASSIGN - Reassigns a job to another qualified user during I N P ROGRESS
• R EJECT - Returns the work order/job from C OMPLETE back to I N P ROGRESS
• R EJECT - Returns the work order/job from P ENDING A PPROVAL back to I N P ROGRESS
• R ELEASE - Advances the work order/job from C OMPLETE to FINAL
• S UBMIT - Advances the work order/job from I N P ROGRESS to P ENDING A PPROVAL
