Setting a destination
You can set a destination to which items are transferred with the SEND function.
The data sent by touching
SEND
or by SEND function will be saved with a file name
that is given automatically. You need to export your data if you want to specify a file
name. For information about exporting, see
"Backing up items by exporting them" on

Select File Type
Touch and select the File Type (container format) when transferring
items to another location.
However, the following restrictions apply to the File Type (container
format) when transferring items:
• Only transfer in GXF format can be performed if the LoopRec
setting is turned on. Transfer in MXF or Quick Time format
cannot be performed.
• Playlists can be transferred only in GXF format. Transfer in MXF
or QuickTime format cannot be performed.
• Files in QuickTime format can be transferred only to a USB
storage device connected the local Summit.
• When you transfer in QuickTime with Metadata format, you
transfer a directory structure that includes xml files that describe
the project, media files, and a .mov file.
When you select GXF, the remaining settings are available.

Adds a few seconds of the highlight clip before/after the IN/OUT

Expand Marks For
Guard Bands
Adds a few seconds of the highlight clip before/after the current IN/
OUT marks, then moves the IN/OUT marks to the beginning/end of the
extended highlight clip.

Export Playlist As
Program
When on, exports playlist as a unified program. When off, exports
playlist with each event separate.
