CAUTION:

When the authentication mode is set to local, configure the local password before switching a user to a
higher user privilege level.
• When the authentication mode is set to scheme, configure AAA related parameters before switching a
user to a higher user privilege level.
• The privilege level switch fails after three consecutive unsuccessful password attempts.

Volume.
Modifying Command Level
All the commands in a view are defaulted to different levels, as shown in Table 3 . The administrator can
change the default command level to a lower or higher level to make users of a lower level use
commands with a higher level or to improve device security.
Follow these steps to modify the command level:

When multiple users enter system view concurrently to configure certain attribute, only the last
configuration applies.
• When the number of users has reached the upper limit, other users cannot enter system view.
