Introduction
1.1 Features
The ATCA-7470 is a high-performance ATCA compliant single board computer designed for
demanding storage and processing applications.
The main features of the ATCA-7470 board are as follows:

 Dual socket Intel Xeon E5-2600
 Standard configuration ATCA-7470:
– Option 95W CPU Intel E5-2658 2100 MHz
– Intel Xeon E5-2648L 8-core 70W 1.8GHz
– DDR3 memory support up to 1600MHz
– LVDDR3 (1.35V) support up to 1333MHz for better thermal performance and reduced
power consumption
– Four independent DDR3 memory channels per CPU with one DIMM slot per channel (1
DPC) resulting in a total of 8 DIMM slots
– 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB DDR3 modules in VLP available
 Single slot ATCA form factor (280mm x 322mm)
 Direct CPU to PCIe interface providing 40 PCIe Gen3 lanes (8 Gbps)
