2. Getting Started
Design Flow
You can implement the DDR and DDR2 SDRAM Controllers with ALTMEMPHY IP
using any of the following flows:
■ SOPC Builder flow
■ Qsys Flow
■ MegaWizard Plug-In Manager flow
You can only instantiate the ALTMEMPHY megafunction using the MegaWizard
Plug-In Manager flow.
Figure 2–1 shows the stages for creating a system in the Quartus II software using the
available flows.
