Quick reference to using a ShareScan OP connector
This section includes information about performing functions that are common to many
connectors, such as specifying scanner and document settings. The actual steps that your users
will perform will depend on the connector profile they use. For example, if you configure a
connector profile to use the Express feature (see “Configuring Express” on page 66), users will not
need to perform many of the steps included in this quick reference procedure.
This procedure uses the eCopy Connector for Microsoft Exchange as an example. The connector
profile uses the following configuration settings:

Enable Session Logon
■
Send from personal account
■
Add messages to Sent Items folder
■
Allow user to select recipients
■
Allow user to add recipients to Cc list
■
Search Global Address List
■
Search Outlook Contacts
■
Enable user to manually enter addresses when sending e-mail
■
Default subject line and note
The process described in this section assumes that you are using the hard keyboard, which is
available only with ScanStations.
