eCopy connector for SMTP using LDAP Properties settings
The
Properties
window allows administrators who are more familiar with LDAP to fine-tune the
settings, without relying on the Wizard.
Basic LDAP settings

LDAP Server
Specifies the
information
about the
server that will
provide the
Global Address
List; the same
server is used
for sender
authentication
if LDAP
authentication
is enabled.
Server
The IP address, DNS name, or URL of the LDAP server
associated with the directory you want to use.
Port
The LDAP port number. The default is 389. If this does not
work, try 3268.
Server requires
SSL for
communication
Requires the client to use SSL to communicate with the server.
User DN
The Distinguished Name of the server account. The account
must have permissions to query the supplied base DN and
extract attributes from the query results.
Password
The password associated with the server account.
Connect
Anonymously
Select this option if your server allows anonymous directory
lookups.
Test
Tests the credentials you have entered. The system must check
the information before you can proceed.
