Mapping CoS Priorities to Egress Queues
This procedure explains how to change the default mapping of CoS
priorities to egress priority queues, shown in Table 10 on page 226. This
is set at the switch level. You cannot set this at the per-port level.
To change the mappings, perform the following procedure.
1. From the Main Menu, type 7 to select Quality of Service (QoS)
Configuration.
The Class of Service (CoS) menu is shown in Figure 65 on page
228.
2. From the Class of Service (CoS) menu, type 2 to select Map CoS
Priority to Egress Queue.
The Map CoS Priority to Egress Queue menu is shown in Figure 67.

3. Type the number of the CoS priority whose queue assignment you
want to change. This toggles the queue value through the possible
queue settings.
For example, to direct all tagged packets with a CoS priority of 5
to egress queue Q3, you would toggle 6 until the CoS 5 Priority
Queue value reads Q3.
4. If desired, repeat Step 3 to change the queue assignments of other
CoS priorities.
5. After making changes, type R until you return to the Main Menu. Then
type S to select Save Configuration Changes.
