Ping Health Check: Select the Enable check box to enable Layer 3 health checks to the
real server IP addresses.
•
Source NAT: Select the Enable check box to allow the device to use a source IP address as
the source for packets sent to the real server.
•
Source-NAT ACL: Select the check box to configure the device to apply source NAT for the
traffic received from specified source IP addresses, by creating an access control list,
which specifies a permit action for the traffic from the source IP address.
•
ACL ID: Enter the identifier for the access list in the source NAT. The range is from 1
through 99. The default value is 1.
9. Under Rate Limiting, provide the following information:
•
Maximum Connections: Enter the maximum number of sessions the device will maintain
in its session table. The range is from 1 through 2000000.
•
Maximum TCP Connection Rate: Enter the maximum number of TCP connections per
second. The range is from 1 through 4000000.
•
Maximum UDP Connection Rate: Enter the maximum number of UDP connections per
second. The range is from 1 through 4000000.
10. Click Apply to save your entries.
Click Reset to revert the configuration to the previous configured values.

Real server port configuration summary
The Real Servers Ports tab displays a list of real server ports configured on the Brocade Virtual
ADX. Each entry includes the port name, Admin status, run-time state, Slow Start status, backup,
and health check status.
To view the ports for a real server configured on the Brocade Virtual ADX, perform the following
steps within the Configure tab.
1. Click Traffic on the menu bar.
2. From the sidebar, select Real Servers.
The Real Server page is displayed, as shown in
.
3. Select a real server to perform the following actions:
•
Click the New button to display the Configure Real Server - new tab and configure a real
server.
•
Click the Edit button to open the Edit Real Server tab and edit parameters for the selected
real server entry.
