describes the Per-IP MSS tab controls and their functions.
Selecting a single row in the table populates the associated editing fields with the contents of that
row. Selecting one or more table rows enables the Delete button, allowing you to delete groups
from the table. Clicking Clear deselects all rows and empties the edit fields, making it easier to
create a new group.
In addition to the information in the table, this tab lets you set the IP address Version (IPv4 or IPv6).
NOTE
Once written to the table, the Version field cannot be altered, it can only be deleted.
Adding an IP-MSS entry
To add an entry to this list:
1. Select the Configure tab.
2. Click Security in the tab menu bar.
3. From the sidebar, select SYN-Proxy.
4. At the bottom of the Settings tab, click MSS values per IP. This opens the Per-IPMSS tab.
5. Click Clear to add a new entry.
6. Enter the values for the new entry.
NOTE
Once an entry is set to IPv4 or IPv6 that value cannot be changed.
7. Click Add. The new entry is automatically added to the bottom of the list of entries.
Deleting an IP-MSS entry
To delete an entry from this list:
1. Select the Configure tab.
2. Click Security in the tab menu bar.
3. From the sidebar, select SYN-Proxy.
4. At the bottom of the Settings tab, click MSS values per IP. This opens the Per-IPMSS tab.
5. Select the entry you want to remove, and click Delete.
The selected entry is automatically deleted.

Enter the destination IP address.
MSS Value
Select the maximum segment size (MSS) that can be used.
Range
Enter the range to be accepted. (range: 1–64)
