Template contents are saved to the file "/opt/ADX/tmpl/ready/test.xml".
Syntax: template add-inputs template_file template_area result_file
The template_file variable is the source template file to add user inputs.
The template_area variable is the location where the source template file will be read. Enter
pre-defined, user-defined, or ready-to-execute.
The result_file is the name where the modified template file is saved.
The Brocade Virtual ADX displays a message that the operation succeeded, or a list of errors and
warnings generated from the validation of the entire template, up to 128 messages.
Deleting a template
You can delete a template from the user-defined or ready-to-use area. You cannot delete a template
from the pre-defined area.
To delete a template, use the template delete command in privileged mode.
VirtualADX#template delete test.xml user-defined
Syntax: template delete template_file template_area
The template_file is the template file to delete.
The template_area variable is the area where the template file is located. Enter user-defined or
ready-to-use.
