1. Check the Enable Operation Log Function checkbox. The object list displays all objects available for
recording in the Operation log. Use the filter button
to select the type of object(s) that appear in the list.
2. Check the Enable box for each object to be recorded. Click the Select All / Discard All buttons to select or
deselect all objects shown in the list.
3. Use the Storage Settings section to determine how much data is stored in HMI internal memory, and when
to archive data to an SD or USB device.
Maximum Record No. in HMI Memory
Select the maximum number of records to store in
HMI memory. This memory is shared with Data
Sampling and Alarm/Event logging. This is not the
maximum amount of data to log.
External Devices for Synchronization/Backup
Select whether to archive to an SD or USB device.
Behavior when HMI Space is Insufficient
Stop Saving Operation Log: No more data is saved,
and no archiving is done.
Synchronize to External Device: The data is
archived to the SD or USB device. If previous data
exists on the SD/USB device, the new data is
merged with the existing data. If there is sufficient
storage space in the HMI, half of the data in the
log is erased to make room for more data. If there
is insufficient storage space in the HMI, all of the
data in the log is erased.
Note: If the specified SD or USB device does not
exist, old data is erased from the log to make
room for new data.
Control Address
Specifies the first of two addresses that allow
commands to be sent to the Operation Log:
[Specified Address] : Command
1 – Clear all records
2 – Copy all records to the USB device
3 - Copy all records to the SD device.
4 - Copy all records to the USB device, and clear all
records from the log.
5 - Copy all records to the SD device, and clear all
records from the log.
[Specified Address + 1] : Command
0 – Processing the command
1 – Command Successful
2- The device does not exist
3 -The records does not exist
4 – Unknown error.
