Display and Checks of Modified Values
Once modified, the field values are displayed in blue color as long as the changes have
not been applied. No check on inconsistent or incompatible field values are performed at
that stage.
When you apply the changes, the following occurs:
•
The values you have modified are checked. If setting values are inconsistent, you will
get an error message at that stage.
•
The validated values return to the standard color.
•
The inconsistencies are displayed as follows:
◦
Inconsistent values are displayed in red.
◦
A warning message tells you which field value is problematic.
◦
The page containing the inconsistent field value is then displayed when you use
the server-based application.
Required Application Reboot
Modifications to some parameters require an application reboot to be taken into account.
This is mentioned in the sections where the parameters are described. The list below
summarizes the parameters for which an application reboot is necessary for changes to
be taken into account:
