snmp-server host
Use this command to specify the recipient of a Simple Network Management
Protocol notification operation. Use the no form to remove the specified
host.
Syntax
snmp-server host host-addr community-string [version {1 | 2c | 3 {auth |
noauth | priv} [udp-port port]}
no snmp-server host host-addr
• host-addr - Internet address of the host (the targeted recipient).
(Maximum host addresses: 5 trap destination IP address entries)
• community-string - Password-like community string sent with the
notification operation. Although you can set this string using the
snmp-server host command by itself, we recommend that you define
this string using the snmp-server community command prior to
using the snmp-server host command. (Maximum length: 32
characters)
• version - Specifies whether to send notifications as SNMP v1 or v2c
traps.
• auth | noauth | priv - This group uses SNMPv3 with authentication,
no authentication, or with authentication and privacy.
• udp-port - Specifies the UDP port number used by the host.
