Chapter 27 High Availability
When two CS-2001 devices are deployed in the network, the two devices can
operate in active / standby mode. The master device (active device) maintains a
synchronization with the backup device (standby device). Once the master device fails,
the backup device will seamlessly take over the operations. The High Availability
mechanism effectively prevents any loss of data to your business.
