Terms in Settings
Log Storage Time
 Quarantined spam / virus emails can be designate a storage time and deleted
when due.
 You may also decide whether a quarantined email can be repeatedly retrieved or
not.
Personal Email Viewer / Email Notification Settings
 This is to enable the Personal Email Viewer and configure the port and public IP
address/ Hostname for email notification.
 Configures the Login Authentication.
Email Settings
 Configure the maximum number of sessions per IP per minute and the maximum
number of concurrent sessions per IP.
 Set the storage time of queued mail.
Mail Scanning Settings
 It determines of which size an email is to be scanned for viruses and spam.
 It allows you to highlight unscanned emails by adding a warning message.
 It allows you to tag spam email’s subject or virus-infected emails with warning
message.
The Subject and Content of the Mail Notice
 The IT administrator may configure the subject and content of the mail notice.
The system will send the mail notice by default if this part is left blank.
 Go to Mail Security > Configuration > Settings and then set as below:
 Storage Time of Quarantined Logs: enter 14.
 Tick Enable Web Mail. Type 8080 in the HTTP field. Type 1443 in
the HTTPS field. Type 59.124.36.162 in the Public IP Address/
Domain Name field.
 Max. No. of Sessions per IP per Minute: enter 20.
 Max. No. of Concurrent Sessions per IP: enter 100.
 Max. Lifetime of Queued Mail: enter 4 hours
 Max. Spam Mail Scanning Size: 128 KBytes.
 Max. Virus Mail Scanning Size: 512 KBytes.
 Tag an unscanned email’s subject with: --Unscanned--.
