Step 2. Under Policy > Outgoing, set as below:

Application Blocking: Select the name of the Application Blocking
Setting.
Click OK.

Note:
1. P2P software occupies significant network bandwidth resources, adversly affecting other users.
Policy Object > Service can block the port number that P2P software uses, however this port
number is variable and can be modified by users. Therefore, the IT administrator must use the
Peer to Peer Application settings located under Policy Object > Application Blocking >
Setting
to successfully block users from using P2P software.
