Appendix D. OPTIONAL HIGH PERFORMANCE PACKET PROCESSOR
The CDM-570AL and CDMR-570AL L-Band Satellite Modems may be referred to
throughout this appendix, collectively, as the CDM/R-570AL.
This appendix also identifies the CDM-570A, CDM-570AL, or CDMR-570AL Satellite
Modems, as equipped with the optional High Performance Packet Processor,
collectively as the CDM-570A/570AL-IP.
The CDM-570A/570AL-IP and other compatible, IP-centric Comtech EF Data modems
may also be generically referred to throughout this appendix as the CDM-IP.
The CDM-570A/570AL-IP can be configured for 1:1 IP Redundancy as a standard feature when
used with a Comtech EF Data CRS-180 (70/140 MHz IF) or CRS-170A (L-Band) 1:1 Redundancy
Switch:
Modem Type
CRS Switch Model
CDM-570A-IP (70-140 MHz IF)
CRS-180
CDM/R-570AL-IP (L-Band)
