When you select Yes, the modem clears the event log and returns you to the previous menu.
However, if a fault persists, the modem re-stamps the fault and generates a new log entry.
In accordance with European convention, the date appears in DAY-MONTH-YEAR
format.

The Link Statistics Log stores up to 255 events. Use the ▲▼arrow keys to browse through the
available entries. Press ENTER or CLEAR to return to the previous menu.
The top line indicates the log entry number, and the time and date of the entry.
In accordance with European convention, the date appears in DAY-MONTH-YEAR
format.
The bottom line shows the measured and recorded statistics data: Minimum E
b
/N
0;
Average
E
b
/N
0;
Maximum TPLI; and Average TPLI. (TPLI = Transmit Power Level Increase – you must enable
AUPC to review TPLI.)
The meaning and format of the numbers is as follows:
•
Once you define a measurement interval (see MONITOR: Stats Config), the modem
observes E
b
/N
0
and TPLI at a once-per-second rate during this interval. At the end of the
interval, the modem calculates and records the average E
b
/N
0
and the minimum value seen
during the interval. Similarly, the modem calculates the TPLI along with the highest value seen
during the interval.
If the demod loses lock during the measurement interval, the minimum E
b
/N
0
shows ‘Loss’ rather than indicates a value. However, the average value (while
the demod was locked) will still be calculated and shown. If, on the other
hand, you unlock the demodulator for the entire measurement interval, the
average E
b
/N
0
will also show ‘Loss’. (The display shows ‘Loss, Loss’.)
•
If the measured values are greater than or equal to 16.0 dB, the display shows ‘16.0’.
