IGMP
I
Use the IGMP protocol to regulate Multicast traffic on a LAN segment to
prevent information of no interest from consuming bandwidth on the LAN.
Toggle [Enabled] or [Disabled]:
•
When Enabled, the Packet Processor reports an interest to join a
Multicast group on an IGMP server:
o The receive portion of the Packet Processor is utilized as an
IGMP server.
o The transmit portion of the Packet Processor is utilized as an
IGMP client.
Downlink Route All Available
Multicast
M
Toggle [Enabled] or [Disabled]:
•
When Enabled, the Packet Processor routes all Multicast packets
coming from the Satellite interface to the Ethernet LAN regardless of
the Route Table entries.
•
When Disabled, the Packet Processor does not automatically forward
all Multicast packets. The Packet Processor will forward Multicast
traffic received from the satellite to the Ethernet port only if the
Multicast route exists in the Route Table.
Quality of Service (QoS)
Q
This FAST feature must be purchased.
Toggle [Enabled] or [Disabled]:
•
When Enabled, the Packet Processor applies configured QoS rules
on all packets going out the Satellite Interface.
•
When Disabled, the Packet Processor does not apply QoS rules for
outgoing packets.
Transmit 3xDES Encryption

selections are therefore non-functioning at this
time.

This option compresses L3/L4/L5 headers. Headers available for
compression can be referenced in the IP Header Compression section.
Note that:
•
In Managed Switch mode, all L2 Ethernet Headers are compressed
whether or not this feature is Enabled.
•
In Router mode, this screen shows compression as Available, and the
option must be Enabled per route using the Route Table page.
