Certain page functionality becomes disabled or inaccessible while the modem is
set to CDM-570 Compatibility Mode:

Tx FEC Type – VersaFEC and ULL unavailable*
Tx Filter Rolloff Factor – Becomes fixed at 0.35
o Receive section:
Rx FEC Type – VersaFEC and ULL unavailable*
Rx Filter Rolloff Factor – Becomes fixed at 0.35
(*FEC Type defaults to Viterbi; Modulation/Demodulation Types, FEC
Code Rates, and Data Rates all adjust accordingly)

Certain operational settings will reset to a default or fallback value when the
modem is set to CDM-570 Compatibility Mode. You must be sure to reconfigure
the modem to your previously configured settings.

o Transmit section: Frequency value >2000 MHz resets to 1201 MHz

Re-Center Buffer
Click [Re-Center Buffer] to force the re-centering of the Plesiochronous/Doppler buffer.
Unit
Use the drop-down lists provided in this section to configure Test Mode, Stats Sample Interval,
Front Panel Lockout, RTS/CTS Control, and HSSI Handshake Control.
Click [Submit Unit Utilities] to save.
