^ (ASCII Code 94)
This indicates that the Target is in Remote Mode, so serial remote control is not possible. There are two exceptions to this:
1.
The LRS (Local/Remote Status) command is still active, and may be used to change the operating mode to local or to serial remote
control.
2.
For the CDM/R-570AL, the FPL (Front Panel Lockout) command is active, and may be used to configure the Front Panel Lockout to
be “No lockout” or “Active.”
+ (ASCII Code 43)
This character warns the user that the command was accepted, but that other parameters were additionally changed.
8.2.2.6 Optional Message Arguments
Arguments are not required for all messages.
Comma ‘,’ (ASCII Code 44), period ‘.’ (ASCII Code 46), the numbers ‘0’ to ‘9’ (ASCII Codes 48 to 57), and the uppercase alphabetic
characters ‘A’ to ‘Z’ (ASCII Codes 65 to 90) may be used.
8.2.2.7 End of Packet
•
Controller-to-Target: This is the ‘Carriage Return’ ([CR]) character (ASCII code 13).
•
