Chapter 7 Bump Test Application
Saving a Bump Test Setup and Measurement
The bump test setup parameters and measurements can be saved to a file which
can then be recalled at a later time. You can save a bump test setup and
measurement anytime the Save function is displayed on the screen.
1. Press F3 (Save). The Bump Test -Save Data screen appears.
2. Do one of the following:
•
To save the data to an existing file, highlight the file, and press F4
(Save). Press F2 (Yes) to overwrite the existing file. Note that you can
return to the Save screen without overwriting the file by pressing F3
(No).
• To save the data to a new file, highlight ‘save reading as’ and press F4
(Save). Enter a file name using the keypad or accept the default file
name (current date timestamp). When the entry is complete, press F4
(OK).
3. When you are finished, press F1 (Cancel).
IMPORTANT The setup parameters are saved along with the measurement when you
press F4 (Save) on the Bump Test - Save Data screen.
