Sample Empty Detected
This error message occurs when the system completely acquires the
entire sample volume.
•
See if the samples were properly mixed before they were
dispensed into the wells.
•
See if you loaded the sample to the correct well on the plate.
•
Check if the sample volume added to the well is correct.
•
Remove and sonicate or flush the XYP instrument Sample Probe
to remove possible clogs.
•
Check if the XYP instrument Sample Probe is properly aligned.
•
Complete the following analyzer functions from the Maintenance
tab: Drain, Backflush, and Alcohol Flush.
•
Run the system controls.
•
Check to see if the delta cal temperature < 3.0 degrees.
Recalibrate if greater than 3.0 degrees and retry.
•
If the system controls pass, contact the kit manufacturer.
Unknown Formula Failure
•
Ensure that you selected the correct template.
•
Verify that the system is functioning properly by running system
controls.
•
If the system controls pass, contact the kit manufacturer.
Luminex 100
Analyzer Problems
Power On Indicator Light
Is Not On
•
Ensure that the Luminex 100 analyzer is powered on.
•
Ensure that the system is plugged into an outlet with current.
•
If using a surge protector, see if the power strip is On.
•
Remove and reconnect the cable.
•
Check the fuses (see “Fuses” on page 8-10).
PC Is Not Powered On
•
Ensure that the PC voltage is set correctly by checking the back
of the PC. The options are 115 Volts and 230 Volts.
•
Ensure that the system is plugged into an outlet with current.
•
If using a surge protector, see if the power strip is On.
•
Remove the cable and reconnect.
•
Power on the PC.
Sheath Fluid Is Leaking
Onto the Plate Holder
•
Remove and sonicate or flush the XYP instrument Sample
Probe. Load a new plate onto the plate holder.
