Low Laser Power
Detected
•
Warm up the system. This takes approximately 30 minutes.
•
Calibrate and verify the system.
•
Open the calibration trend report for L100-CAL2 and record the
last three reporter voltages. Contact Luminex Customer Support
with this information.
•
Calibrate and verify the system daily before use.
Command Encountered
Time Out Error
•
This error message occurs when the current command fails, for
example, if the system suddenly lost power or if the system is
unable to pressurize in the set time. Repeat the command after
checking the system.
System Error States
The following states are displayed on the status bar or on the Run
Batch tab when the system is in operation.
Disconnected
•
Click the connect button on the toolbar and wait for status to
change.
•
Remove and reconnect the cable connections.
•
Close the software application and reopen it.
•
Close the software application and power off the Luminex 100
analyzer, the XYP instrument, and the PC. Power them back on
and check status.
If the system is powered off, you must calibrate and verify the
system when the system properly connects.
Locked Out
•
Close all software applications other than the IS 2.1 application.
Do not install unapproved software applications on the Luminex 100
IS.
Refill Sheath
A warning shows in red under the resume temperature and pressure
gauges on the Run Batch tab.
•
Refill the sheath container and select Resume.
Running: Sheath Empty
•
Fill the sheath fluid container with LabMAP sheath fluid to the
fill line. From the Maintenance tab, click Prime 2 times.

Messages
The following error messages can be displayed in the message log
located in the Diagnostics tab, in Reports, and in the Errors tab in a
batch analysis.
