11.3.3 PD4222E Panel
11.3.3.1 Required
Equipment
1. 512 kBit PROM device – ST M27C512 or equivalent.
2. PROM Programming unit.
3. PROM programming software appropriate for the unit.
4. Appropriate ‘S’ record file for 4222 panel.
11.3.3.2 Upgrade
Steps
1. Ensure that the PROM device to be programmed is empty.
2. Program the PROM device with the appropriate file according to the
instructions for the PROM programmer being used.
3. Confirm that the checksum of the programmed device matches that detailed in
the Eclipse release notes.
4. Remove the existing PROM device from the 4222 panel.
5. Insert the newly programmed PROM device taking care to ensure the correct
polarity of the device.
