11.2 ICS-2003 Series Panels
11.2.1 Important Information
Before attempting any upgrade, ensure that anti static precautions are taken, as the
Eclipse items are sensitive to static discharges.
11.2.1.1 Required
Equipment
1. 2 off 1 MBit PROM device – ATMEL AT29C010A or equivalent
2. PROM Programming unit
3. PROM programming software appropriate for the unit
4. Appropriate EVEN ‘S’ record file for ICS2003 panel
5. Appropriate ODD ‘S’ record file for ICS2003 panel
11.2.1.2 Upgrade
Steps
1. Ensure that the PROM device to be programmed is empty
2. Program the PROM device with the appropriate EVEN file according to the
instructions for the PROM programmer being used.
3. Confirm that the checksum of the programmed device matches that detailed in
the Eclipse release notes.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the ODD PROM file image
5. Remove the existing PROM devices from the ICS2003 panel.
6. Insert the newly programmed PROM devices taking care to ensure the correct
polarity of the devices.
For Analogue CAT5 connections direct to the Matrix use the Analogue software:

PROM\710648Z.BIN
• InstallCD\Panel Software\ICS-2003\Analog\710649Z - Even
PROM\710649Z.BIN
For DIGITAL connections via a DIGI2 interface to the Matrix use the Digital software:
• InstallCD\Panel Software\ICS-2003\Digital\710650Z - Odd
PROM\710650Z.BIN
