6.4.1 Using the Matrix Event Log in ECS
It is necessary to connect to the frame using a Serial or Ethernet connection.
1. Open the Matrix Event Log window.
2. In the “Matrix Selection” tab select the configuration and frame you want to
monitor and click on the play button.
3. In the “Request information” tab select matrix overview from the scroll list and
click on “send request”.
4. A list of messages will be displayed and you should look for the line in the
picture below. This tells you what the current MVX version is** .
** Note: The picture above states MVX16A25 and the new version is MVX16A37.
Using TeraTerm.
1. Install Tera-Term which is provided with the Eclipse CD.
