Figure 67 - IMPACT Bounday Scan in Progress
1. The full chain should be:
TDI - Router FPGA (XC2VP20) - Router FPGA Flash (XCF16P) - Fibre FPGA
(XC2VP20) - Fibre FPGA Flash (XCF16P) – TDO
2. If only the front or rear card alone is to be programmed only the first two or
last two devices of the above chain will be present.
3. The "Assign New Configuration File" dialog now is asking you to select an
FPGA image for the first device in the chain, or to bypass that device.
4. We're going to bypass the XC2VP20 (first device) and the XC2VP20 (third
device), and provide images for the second and fourth devices (the FPGA
flashes).
5. So, hit the Bypass button for the first device, select the FPGA image for the
router for the second device, Bypass the third device and select the FPGA
image for the networking FPGA.

6. Once you've done all the devices, a summary dialog will be presented. For the
XCF16P device(s) (one if only doing the front or back cards, two if both)
