5. As the upload proceeds, the AUX and MAIN lights on the panel will gradually
change from green to amber and then red. This process may take a few
minutes.
6. When the upload is complete, the panel will reset itself, completing the
procedure. After the panel has reset the display will be blank.
11.7.3 Updating the Kernel, Kernel Root Filesystem and Application Files
1. Press and hold the Main and Aux volume knobs simultaneously.
2. Poke a paper clip into the reset hole on the front of the panel between the H/S
and MENU buttons.
3. The four function keys (Mic On, H/S sel, Shift and Menu) should flash.
4. Press the “Shift” key on the panel to trigger the upload of the Kernel, Kernel
Root Filesystem and Application files.
5. As the upload proceeds, the AUX and MAIN lights on the panel will gradually
light up.
6. When the upload is complete, the panel will reset itself.
7. Wait until the panel completely resets it self and displays the offline status
screen before powering down the panel (example shown below).

Note: After the V-Series panel has been updated using the TFTP server
some of the level settings be disabled. To enable the level settings
download a map from ECS using the Clear Frame Data option.
