11.1.2 Required Equipment
1. PC with serial or Ethernet communications port.
2. Installed and configured Eclipse Configuration System (ECS) application.
3. Correctly configured Eclipse configuration map.
4. Serial cable or Ethernet cable for PC to matrix interconnection.
5. Appropriate .4kp format panel application.

11.1.3 Upgrade Steps
1. Start ECS on the PC.
2. Connect the PC to the matrix using either Ethernet or serial communications
port.
3. Open the ECS configuration map within ECS.
4. Select “File -> Update Firmware” from the main ECS menu.
5. Ensure that the update firmware wizard dialogue is displayed.

6. Click on “Next” and ensure that the “Panel” radio button is selected.
