26. The card should now boot and on the LED display show “0”, indicating there is
no configuration file on the card.
When upgrading from 5.0 to 5.1 the new 5.1 application will reject the 5.0
configuration map; a new configuration map needs to be downloaded.
27. Repeat steps 6 through 23 for the second configuration card if present.
28. Reinsert the configuration cards into the matrix.
29. Proceed to serially download a basic configuration map to the cards using
ECS – This will then allow you to make any further configuration changes via
Serial Connection (See ECS programming manual for how to setup a basic
configuration).
3.8 Updating the Configuration Card’s Xilinx ICs
3.8.1 Required Equipment
Upgrade of Xilinx images on Eclipse configuration cards requires the use of
specialist equipment and cannot be carried out in the field without this equipment.
