5 Omega & Median MVX-A16 updates
5.1 Important Information
Before attempting any upgrade, ensure that anti static precautions are taken, as the
Eclipse items are sensitive to static discharges.
At this time, the MVX-A16 software update process must be performed manually.
MVX-A16 card H8 application code must be updated on a single card at a time. This
requires the fitting of a download cable to the card and hence a number of cards
need to be removed to provide access.
It is not possible to directly check the MVX-A16 H8 application version. This must be
done either by use of a terminal emulator such as TeraTerm or by using ECS to
query the matrix. It is suggested that this check is carried out only once all MVX-A16
cards have been upgraded (See 5.5 MVX-A16 Firmware Version Checking).
