5. Connect the 14way IDC header to CON5 of the rear card if only programming
the rear card.
6. Power up the UUT and start the iMPACT programming tool.
7. Select Cancel in the Load Project dialogue.
8. In the ‘Flows’ window, double click on ‘Boundary Scan’.

9. Right click in the main window and select “Initialise Chain” / Ctrl+ I.
10. When this is done, a dialog, "Assign New Configuration File", will be
presented. Ignore this for a moment, since you need to check the device list
first.
11. If the cable is connected correctly the application will connect and a Xilink chip
chain will be shown (note: picture below does not show the correct device
chain) – else a cable connection warning will be given.
